Bulk Dry Mixes

Bulk Dry Mix Corn Bread

Polenta: 750g (1 full bag)
Self-raising flour = 550g
Sugar = 220g
Salt = 4.5g

Total 1530 gm – Use a container with room

If you just want to make one batch

Per Batch of Corn bread

350 g dry mix or 2 cups + 4 Tbsp

1 cup milk

50gm melted butter

Let the mix sit in the fridge for 10 minutes at least to help rehydrate the polenta for a better texture.

Cook on 180° (160° fan bake) 20 to 30mins for loaves and 20mins for corn bread muffins

Or until golden brown.

Muffin Dry Mix

2.5kg Plain flour

6 tbsp Baking Powder

2 tbsp Salt

2 cups Sugar

Total – 3kg

Use a container that can hold 3kg and has room to scoop

Per Batch of Muffins

3 cups Dry Mix

1 cup milk

1 egg

⅓ cup oil or butter

Add the desired mix-ins/ vanilla essence or cocoa powder, etc

180°c Oven or (160° fan bake)

Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, depending on mix-ins and oven

Pancake/ Waffle Dry Mix

2.2kg Plain Flour

6 tbsp Baking Flour

1 tbsp Bicarb soda

2 tbsp Salt

1.5 cups Sugar

Total 2.6kg – For storage container

Per batch of Pancakes/ Waffles 

Pancakes

2 cups Dry Mix

1.5 cups of Milk

1 egg

2 tbsp butter/ oil

Vanilla

Waffles

2 cups of dry mix

1 ¾ cups milk

1 egg

2 tbsp oil

Use oil instead of butter here
